Know Your Company is a simple web app that helps you learn something new and important about your company every week. You'll learn what your employees are working on, how they feel about the company, and who they are as people.
The software is centered on a basic belief: Answers only come when you ask questions. So the entire app revolves around asking questions to you and your employees – the right questions, in the right way, at the right time. And, none of it is anonymous (we believe anonymous feedback breeds a culture of distrust ).
The questions come as an email (or Slack message) so there's nothing you need to set up, install, sign-in to, etc. Once you get started, the whole thing runs like clockwork.
Let's jump in and see how it works...
You'll first get kicked off with an Icebreaker. The Icebreaker is five fun questions, where you'll get to share a bit about yourself with the rest of the company.
New hires are also asked the Icebreaker questions – it's perfect for introducing them to the company (especially if you've been hiring a lot recently!)

After the Icebreaker, you’ll then get asked three core Know Your Company questions every week.
On Mondays you'll always be asked: What are you working on? This will give everyone a bird’s eye view of what’s happening across the company while encouraging your employees to think about the week ahead.

Every Wednesday we'll ask a different question to help you uncover how your employees feel about your business, the work, the culture, etc. A question might be... "Seen anyone do something great recently that's gone unrecognized?" Each person decides who can see her or his answer – just the leadership team, or everyone at the company.

And then on Fridays everyone is asked a Social Question. Something non-work related. Like... Read any good books lately? or What's your earliest memory? You'll see what people have in common, discover something new about someone, share an experience, etc.
