What happens if an employee leaves my company?

If an employee leaves, you're able to turn off her or his account. You still get to keep that employee's data for life.

When a new employee comes on board, it's $100 for that new person's account. It's not a seat swap system. This is because you get to keep employees' data for life, even when they leave your company.

At the same time, we do understand that things happen. So if for some reason, an employee leaves within 90 days of you adding them to Know Your Company, we’ll comp you an account going forward. We definitely understand that only getting a few weeks worth of feedback is not useful.

How does billing work? What happens when my trial ends?

Once your free trial is up, we'll send you a email asking if you'd like to continue using the product. If you're up for continuing to know your company better, we'll send you an invoice for however many employees you have. You'll have 7 days to pay that invoice via credit card, check, wire or PayPal.

Why is your pricing one-time versus, say, a monthly subscription?

We charge a one-time investment per employee because we believe that a CEO or manager should get feedback from their employees for life – not for just a few weeks, or even a few months. We believe a CEO should continuously ask an employee thoughtful questions and get continuous feedback the entire time the employee is with the company.

As a result, we priced our software as a per-person, one-time investment for life – where you pay just once and where you get to keep the data for life – to encourage more CEOs to view feedback as an action they should be doing continuously, focused on getting to know each individual person.
